While I agree that Milton Friedman was a hypocrite, and his work was twisted to promote the clearly abhorrent practice of liberal colonialism, I felt that your inclusion of this segment pointed to a belief that Derrick's libertarianism was at the root of your assertions concerning child sovereignty. Thus my description of the left/right paradigm as the crux of the issue.
I suggest reading the work of Samuel Konkin III for a better understanding of the left-libertarian perspective which seeks to harmonize the left/right divide. Friedman was not a good example as most left-libertarians feel he compromised the non-aggression principle through the very policy recommendations you mention in the linked video.

Yes, we disagree about prioritizing ideological principles in deference to unification, but differences within the scene are to be expected.
